About Smart ID
Smart ID is a privately-owned software company specializing in budget planning systems. Founded in 2010, the company has worked with government bodies, local authorities, non-profits and commercial companies, building budget management tools that fit their exact organizational structure.
Who's behind it
Doron Neve, founder and owner of Smart ID, brings around 30 years of experience across finance and hi-tech. A Certified Public Accountant (1997), Doron built deep experience on both sides of the budget table: managing it, and building software for it.
He served as controller at a public company ("Green Computers"), managed the financial product line at software company "Kav Ma'arachot" (installed at companies such as Leyman Shlissel, Even Kaisar, Diplomat, The Ofer Brothers and SodaClub), worked as controller at a large non-profit organization (Agudah LeMaan HaChayal, with an annual turnover of roughly NIS 1 billion), and headed the software solutions department at consulting firm BDO Ziv Haft.
That combination, understanding budgets from the inside and knowing how to build systems for them, is what led to founding Smart ID in 2010.
